About Me

Kristi Vance, Founder & CEO

My passion is for helping Seniors in all the different stages of the aging process by guiding them and their families to the right "Next Step" when they can no longer live in their current situation.

My resources consist of connections with Doctors that are taking new medicare patients, Elder Law Services that assist with VA Benefits, Advanced Directives, Insurance Agents that specialize and will assist them with Long Term Care Insurance, Medicare, Medicaid and supplemental insurance options. I also have contacts for Senior Certified Real Estate Brokers that specialize in helping Seniors sell their homes when this is needed to provide the financial ability to make the move into an Independent Senior Living Community, Assisted Living Community, Memory Care Community, Residential Care Home or a Long Term Care Nursing Home.

My previous work experience as the Director of Marketing for three different Assisted Living Communities, a Home Health company, a Non-medical personal care company, a Hospice, and personally assisting with the care of my own 85 year old mother has given me the knowledge and resources to be able to help my clients navigate this sometimes overwhelming, time in life.

Myself or one of my Community Liaisons will personally take them by the hand, provide the right tools or resources, and lead them through the whole process, making the decisions much easier for all involved.

My BEST ADVICE is to be proactive as you or a family member is aging, instead of having to make a rushed, emergent, reactive decision.

My services are provided at NO COST to the Senior or their family. Please allow us to educate you on your choices and assist you with finding the answers to your questions which will put your mind at ease.

Michelle began working in the senior services arena as a result of personal experience. After her father’s death in 2015, Michelle’s mother became ill enough that she and her siblings needed to find assisted living for her. Due to her father’s sudden illness and subsequent death, Michelle and her siblings had already had to deal with quickly learning about Medicare and who pays for what, hospice, powers of attorney, estate planning, etc. Finding an assisted living facility turned out to be incredibly confusing. With no one to guide them, and relying on what each facility told them, Michelle and her family chose a facility. What followed was unfortunate, as the family had to hire extra, outside care to meet their mother’s needs.

When her mother passed in 2016, Michelle was determined to help educate the public about the senior services arena. Armed with a degree in Psychology from Millersville University of Pa., and having built and been the Director of the Family Support and Psychoeducation department of a public mental health facility, Michelle was ready when an attorney asked her to help build his Elder Law firm here in the DFW region. As the Director of Business Development and Community Relations, Michelle was the first point of contact for all clients. She was able to assist them not only with their legal needs, but with their questions regarding other needs in the senior services arena. Because people “don’t know what they don’t know,” Michelle set up a wide variety of speaking engagements that included professionals from multiple senior services.

Michelle believes that each person, each family has different personal, medical, financial, and social needs. Each family has different dynamics. That’s why an individualized, personalized approach to choosing a new home is so important, and that’s why Michelle believes in Kristi’s Senior Solutions.

Bailey is a 2016 graduate of the University of Arkansas. She previously worked as a Legal Assistant in a Law firm but her concern and compassion for Seniors swayed her to become part of the KSS team. She has had a love for Seniors since she was a little girl. As a Girl Scout she always looked forward to taking lap blankets, Candy and performing Puppet Ministry at the Senior Living communities in her area. Her poise, maturity and ability to sincerely interact with the families and their concerns along with her gift of discernment and attention to detail has allowed her to experience the joys of assisting them to find their right forever home.

Through all of her business ventures and volunteer work, Beth Phelan has found great fulfillment in helping others solve the challenges they face. As the community liaison for Kristi’s Senior Solutions, Beth brings that creative problem solving ability to her clients and is dedicated to connecting seniors with communities specifically designed to meet the needs and desires of those seniors. Beth helps relieve the stress families go through when their senior loved ones choose to, or are no longer able to, live by themselves. Beth sits down with the family, usually the adult children as well as the senior mom or dad, and thoroughly discusses their loved one’s needs and desires. There is so much “overwhelm” during this time and Beth is gifted and experienced in locating the best options for their loved one, alleviating that overwhelm. After walking the family through the entire process and their loved one is settled and content in their new community, it is so fulfilling to Beth to have been a part of the solution.
